While I was pastoring I wrote an article for the local newspaper called “Nuggets of Truth”. Someone that worked in the embassy in Burkina Faso, west Africa received that same newspaper. When they finished reading it, they threw it in the garbage. An African man named Nasse Emmanuel would get it out of the garbage and read it. He could read and write English. He read the “Nuggets of Truth” and got born again and contacted me through the address I put in the article because he wanted to know more about Jesus! He asked me to please come to Burkina and help him to learn about this wonderful salvation.
He had previously appeared to me in 1980 as I reading and meditating on Jeremiah 1:4-10. At that time He spoke these words to me; He said, "I have put healing in your hands." I met with the African man, Nasse and we began to work together starting many churches. Many time we slept on the ground in the villages and I saw more and more the great need for churches and schools. Nasse has since then gone on to do other work and I continue to do the work the Father has called me to do.
